Why the Bellwether Coffee Roaster?

The Traveling Gnomes put a lot of thought and research into deciding how we wanted to roast our beans and on what equipment. The obvious answer after months of research was a Bellwether Roasting System. This system allowed us to check all the important boxes; small batch artisan quality, 100% electric and ventless, automatic operation, an integrated marketplace, the lowest carbon footprint, and software powered precision. 

We want to be able to provide our customers with a superior, consistent product that also provided our Mother Earth relief from the usual roasting methods, and provided the coffee producers sustainability in their growing/harvesting operations.

The coffee industry uses mostly gas burning roasters. These produce a significant amount of carbon emissions, and therefore, affects the farmers by contributing to climate change. By adopting an electric roasting approach, we reduce our carbon footprint.
