Inspired by the Traveling Gnomes’ epic trek from the Grand Canyon’s rim to the mighty Colorado River and back, Rim to River is an adventure in flavor. This organic single-origin coffee hails from the Sierra Azul Cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico, grown within the lush Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, where rich volcanic soil and high-altitude climate create an exceptional cup.

Each sip is as grand as the canyon itself, with deep dark chocolate notes, a maple syrup sweetness, and a hint of fresh clove spice—perfect for fueling your next great journey, whether it’s a sunrise summit or a quiet morning at home.

ORIGIN:

Sourced from the Café Sierra Azul, this is a small cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico within the El Triunfo Biosphere - home to the largest evergreen cloud forest in Mesoamerica and the largest tropical rain forest on the Mexican Pacific coast. Sierra Azul is a relatively new cooperative by young people in the community who had grown up in coffee and were looking for opportunities to create sustainable livelihoods in Chiapas rather than immigrate to the United States. Young people and women make up the majority of the of the 300 members, whom are able to access better markets and financing, as technical assistance and social projects through the cooperative.

IMPACT:

This roast consists of organic coffee which align with our sustainability principles. Producers, many of which are women, are paid an equitable price that supports a living income and provides long-term demand and price stability.
